Decaf Rwanda Nyamasheke

A SUPER-TASTY DECAF FROM RWANDA

This fantastic decaf comes from Celestin Rumenerangabo and his wife, Marie. They own and operate a farm and two washing stations in Nyamasheke, a district of Rwanda near Lake Kivu and Nyungwe National Park and bordering the Democratic Republic of the Congo. For this lot, the farm delivers ripe cherries to the Muhororo washing station, where they are density-sorted in flotation tanks and dried on raised beds for 4–6 weeks. The coffee is then sent to Swiss Water for decaffeination. The result is a sweet and refined cup with notes of raspberry, pomegranate, and pie crust.
